Summer Outings
From May to September society members have the opportunity to enjoy day trips to various places of historical interest. Previous visits have included Richard lll Visitor Centre, Shakespeare’s Birthplace and Anne Hathaway’s Cottage and many fine properties belonging to the National Trust. Every other year a longer trip is organised. This involves a 5 night stay further away from home with numerous excursions to explore the surrounding area.
